Villa Cielo – Oceanview Estate & Investment Retreat in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica

A Panoramic Coastal Sanctuary Above the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Discover Villa Cielo, a 6-bedroom, 6.5-bath villa perched atop nearly 6 acres of titled mountainside. A short 15-minute drive from Jacó Beach, this private estate offers the perfect blend of tranquility, ocean views, and luxury—ideal as a full-time residence, income-producing rental, or multi-home development site.

Wake up each morning to panoramic Pacific vistas, vibrant tropical birds, and the calls of monkeys echoing from the surrounding jungle. Villa Cielo delivers a sense of privacy and connection to nature that few properties can match.

Step through the grand double doors into a newly refinished and freshly painted interior. The open-concept living and dining area flows seamlessly into a chef’s size kitchen with granite countertops, an ideal space for both entertaining and private chef service.

Every corner of the villa has been carefully upgraded and restored:

All interior doors, dining, and living furniture refinished and reupholstered. There all new ceiling fans, light fixtures, and wall art. The entire home painted inside and out in a modern coastal palette. There's a new washer and dryer, new bedding, pillows, and household wares. New vanities have been installed in two of the three main-floor bathrooms. There are desks, bar fridges, coffee makers, Smart TVs, and A/C units in all six bedrooms and four water coolers installed throughout the home for added convenience.

Outdoor Entertaining in Style The heart of Villa Cielo is its outdoor living space—where luxury meets leisure with a brand-new pool renovation with added steps, in-pool stools, and new tile throughout. The pool deck has been replaced, stained, and expanded with new outdoor furniture and sun loungers. An outdoor shower was added beside the pool area as well.

All metal railings, supports, and window frames sanded and repainted. Driveway repaired and maintained, ensuring easy access year-round. New roof and paint over the 2.5-car garage, pool bar, and outdoor kitchen.

Enjoy evening cocktails under the stars, grill fresh seafood in the outdoor kitchen, or simply relax in the shade while macaws and toucans glide below.

Guest House / Staff Quarters: A separate guest house features a new roof and paint, along with private accommodations for on-site caretaker Tino, who maintains the home and grounds. Tino’s services include landscaping, pool upkeep, and basic maintenance in exchange for $750/month plus room and board—ensuring seamless operation for absentee owners.

Land & Expansion Potential: This property extends to approximately 6 acres, with an updated survey filed with the municipality. Recent land and earth studies have been completed on two acres below the main villa, accompanied by a professional project proposal for future construction on an additional ocean view upper plateau. This makes Villa Cielo a turnkey opportunity for expansion or subdivision, ideal for developers or investors seeking multi-residence potential.

Additional Highlights: AYA water supply plus rainwater catch basin backup. Alarm system installed Rental income and financials available for qualified buyers Amazing ocean and jungle views from every angle Frequent visits from monkeys, macaws, and toucans.
